WHO IS RICHARD SHAW, JR?

Richard Shaw Jr is an international Event & Wedding Saxophonist Phenomenon, based in Atlanta, Georgia.

With over 25 years of experience and a repertoire of more than 400 songs, Richard has graced thousands of events

worldwide, ranging from Red Carpet to Royal Weddings, World Leaders Gatherings, Exhibitions, Fashion Shows, Art

shows, Gala Dinners, Corporate Events and Award Ceremonies.

He had the honor to perform for high-profile celebrities like Steve Harvey, Jennifer Hudson, Chris Tucker, CeCe Winans,

Pinky Cole, NeNe Leakes, NBA Julius Erving formally known as Dr. J, and many others.

Richard has also performed for over 50 renowned brands such as Bentley, MGM Studios, NBC, CNN, Fox Theater, Its Show

Time at the Apollo, Ralph Lauren, Montblanc, Dior, St Regis, and more, having performed at over 100 luxury venues

worldwide.

Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from the Grammy Award Winner Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN.

Richard’s talents extend beyond performing, as he is also a song writer, arranger, husband, father, and entrepreneur. His

performances are described as excellent, sensual, smooth, classy, and highly entertaining. He is known for playing up to 3

saxophones simultaneously. Richard is said to be the saxophonist you didn’t know you needed or wanted until you heard

and saw him.

Richard’s ultimate vision is to positively impact the lives of over 1 Billion people through music and believing again. He

currently has a nonprofit organization which is The Believe Again Global Inc which is a 501 (c)(3). His organization

focuses on helping provide resources to those suffering with Mental Health Challenges.
